Humble Beginnings
Pirotan began its journey in 2015 under the name Shine Infosoft, founded by visionary entrepreneur Mr. Jitesh Joshi. At that time, the company had just one developer and a dream: to help businesses access world-class software development without the usual barriers of cost, speed, or talent availability.
The early focus was on custom software and application development. Over time, Shine Infosoft delivered successful projects in logistics, finance, security, and education. As the business grew, so did the vision — to build not just a firm, but a full-fledged technology organization.
Transformation into Pirotan
By 2020, the company had expanded beyond a small agency and registered as Pirotan Technolabs Pvt. Ltd. The name Pirotan was chosen to represent diversity and strength — inspired by Pirotan Island, a place known for its rich variety of bird species. Similarly, Pirotan embodies diversity in workforce, skills, and project portfolio.
This transformation signified more than a name change. It marked the company’s evolution into a global player, capable of delivering at scale while maintaining its client-first approach.
Global Expansion
In 2025, Pirotan established Pirotan Solutions LLC in New Jersey, U.S. This move gave the company a local presence in one of its largest markets, enabling smoother client engagement, faster onboarding, and stronger partnerships.
Today, Pirotan operates with delivery centers in India and client-facing offices in the U.S., ensuring the best of both worlds: Indian engineering excellence with U.S. time zone alignment.
